We’re next door to Indigo, take the staircase beside PH Luxury.

1 hr free parking in the council car park on Cross Street and corner of Jamberoo Lane, Double Bay. You can enter the side path beside the studio via the footpath in the carpark, which leads directly to the stairs of our building.

 

FAQs

  • We love meeting new people and are excited to welcome you to the studio, so please arrive at least 10 minutes early to meet your instructor.

    You will need clean grip socks (for hygiene reasons), a drink bottle and towel.

    Pop your other belongings in the client cubbies (especially your phone!) and head on in to the reformer room.

  • Double Bay Pilates welcomes all lovely humans on any part of their fitness journey.

    There is a place here for each person, from those being introduced to their first class to the regular participants in all things physical.

    All classes are suitable for all fitness levels and fitness goals, please read the class descriptions to find the class you'd like to start with.

    If you have any questions or need a recommendation based on your personal circumstances, please feel free to email hello@double baypilates.com.au and ask.

    We encourage you to try all classes to find the best fit for your schedule and preferences.

  • Your class experience is important to us, so we ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled class time to settle in, find your favourite reformer and make the most of your time with us.

    For safety reasons and so as to not disrupt the community, once class has commenced, late comers will not be admitted. Being late will result in the forfeiture of of the session and marked as a 'no show'.

    Empty reformers will be given to our wait-listed clients or walk-ins.

  • If there is anything we should know about your body that would affect practice, we encourage you to inform your instructor prior to class to ensure all necessary accommodations are made.

    In case you forget prior, the instructor will ask at the start of class, give them a nod and they will come over to make sure you are comfortable with the movements involved.

  • If you are starting your fitness journey, 2 or 3 classes a week is a great start, making sure to go at a pace that you feel happy for your body workout.

    It won't be long before your progress will have you inspired and wanting more and a gradual increase to nearly daily classes per week is a great way to meet the physical activity guidelines

  • Going away? you can pause your membership with 7 days notice for up to 4 weeks at a time.

    If you would like to cancel your membership, once you have completed your commitment, we need 7 days notice via email to process your cancellation.

  • Any Classes cancelled prior to the 9 hour cancellation window will be returned as a credit to your Membership or Class Pack.

    To cancel a booked Class, you must do so through your profile on the Momence app, Double Bay Pilates website, or booking system as soon as possible.

    For Members with Memberships or Class Packs, cancelling a Class less than 9 hours before its start will result in the loss of the Class credit.

    No show, or absence from a class without cancellation will result in the loss of the Class credit also.

  • If a class is at maximum capacity, make sure to register for the waitlist.

    In the event that a spot becomes vacant, you will receive a text notification confirming your acceptance of enrolment in the class. If you are on the waitlist, you are considered to be willing to attend class if a spot becomes vacant.

    Please note that the 9-hour cancellation policy also applies to waitlisted positions. Therefore, if you are unable to attend the class, kindly remove yourself from the waitlist.
